some pictures are great because of the lighting and composition and all that other stuff that makes photography an industry, others are just great because you clicked the shutter at the right moment, often for me-dumbluck.

on his way in. i took this a very long time ago, back when 2 megapixels was high end digital cameras, not the free phone you get when you buy a plan.

kind of cool, maybe? when new generations look back at our pictures, the pixelated crappiness could be seen as that era-defining flare. looking back to film and alternative process technology will still hold a more surreal, dream-like effect (obviously), but i'm just trying to justify spending 50 bucks on a 256m card, okay?
